Sugar Act
The purpose of the sugar act was to stop the smuggleing into other colonies. It arrived in the colonies at a time of economic depression. Law also requirded products such as tobacco, sugar and timber to be shipped directly from the colonies. They set taxes on cloth, sugar, coffie and wine comeing into the colonies. -
Quartering Act
The british goverment moved the army from the western lands into citys. A law required innkeepers or public officals to the house and they were to feed the british soldiers. -
Stamp Act
The stamp act in 1765 imposed a tax on every legal document, new-papers, pamphlet and deck of cards comeing into colonies. The tax was inposed by the brittish on the of the colonies britsh america. Many other types of things like news papers and others where used through out the colonies. In March 1765, the British Parliament passed the Stamp Act to raise money in America to help pay for British soldiers. -
Declaratory Act
The purpose was to remind coloniests that the athority of the king and parliament was superior to colonial goverments. Have full power to make laws and statutes of sufficient force. -
Tea Act
The east india to to stole the right to sell to sell tea to the colonies. India company was a large important corporation in britian. Thge purpose of the law was to keep the company from going broke.
