  • Paleozoic Era

Paleozoic Era was the beginning of multicellular animals. At the end of this era there was the largest extiction in history that killed about 90% of all marine animals. It was 543 to 248 million years ago. Animals, fugi, and plants lived on land and insects flew and limestone was deposited. (http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/paleozoic/paleozoicloc.html)
Ice covered the northern Africa. Monsoons affected coast and middle was dry. http://www.windows.ucar.edu/tour/link=/earth/geology/hist_paleozoic.html
  • Precambrisan Time

Precambrian time was the stretch of 4 thousand million years after Earth was created, before animals left their traces. This time makes up nearly seven-eighths of Earth's history. People say that the Precambrian time had the most important events in biologic history. The Earth formed, life arose, the first tectonic plates arose and began to move, eukaryotic cells evolved, and just before the end of the Precambrian, complex multicellular organism evolved but mostly single celled organisms.
  • Mesozoic Era

The Meesozoic era was 248-65 million years ago. Dinosaurs evolved. Dinosaurs became extinct within 180 milliion years, the end of the mesozoic era. Also a time of great change in terrestrial vegetation. Early dominated by ferns, cycads, ginkgophytes, adn other unusual plants. http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/mesozoic/mesozoic.html
