The Nintendo Switch was released in 2017. Yoshiaki Koizumi, the deputy general manager of the Entertainment Planning and Development Division at Nintendo, was the creator who oversaw the creation of the Switch. The Nintendo Switch allowed games to have access to another gaming system that could be portable and allowed people to play all kinds of different games, from online to multiplayer, in a completely new way.
