    Between the Confederacy and the Northern states. The confederacy declared their "independence" after the slave trade was abolished.
  • Assassination of Abraham Lincoln

    Assassination of Abraham Lincoln
    The assassination of Abraham Lincoln was due to a group of people who did not agree with the President's views on slavery and the confederacy. Joh WIlkes booth shot him in the head and he died at home hours later.
  • Spanish-American War

    Spanish-American War
    An explosion sank a USS battleship and sparked a war between America and Spain.
  • World War One

    World War One
    Also known as "The Great War". It paved the way for large political changes. The spark for the war was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand.

    The governement made it alcohol illegal nationwide. This sparked strikes and rebelliousness amongst the citizens. It created a sort of drug cartel but for alcohol.
