This act brought reform to the way people voted, this gave the power to oversee the voting to the federal government in places that discrimination was practiced. -

The Tet Offensive was an attack that North Vietnam did against the South & the United States during a day that everyone agreed to do a truce. So this brought the US to fight back a bit more before they left the Vietnam War. -

After a long time of competing against the Soviet Union to achieve space flight capability, the United States was able to send two men to land on the moon. This was significatn and importatnt because it braught a new era of technology and exploration. -
