On November 22nd , 1963 President JFK was shot in Dallas,Texas.While riding in a open convertible with his wife by his side. 30 minutes later at Dallas Parkland Hospital his was pronounced dead. -

September 28th, 1967- President Lyndon B. Johnson awards Congressional Medal of Honor to Sgt. David Dolby.Dolby saved many of his fellow soldiers during the Vietnam War. He also was awarded with the Purple Light and Silver Star. -

March 16th 1968 - this was a massive and uncalled for killing of hundreds of people.it was in South Vietnam. They were killed by traumatized American soldiers. -

On June 5th,1968 Robert F. kennedy was shot. This was right after winning the California Primacy. He was walking off stage into the kitchen to shake hands, when all of sudden ‘pop’. He was shot 3 times. -
Alabama Troops
June 10th ,1963 - Alabama troops blocked the doors of of the University of Alabama to stop desegregation. This lead to President JFK sending national guards to escort African Americans students into the school. On June 11th the school was desegregated. -

On July 16,1969 the first 2 astronauts were launched into space to be the first on the moon. Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin achieved this dream. Within 4 days it was declared that the United States was the first on the move. -

John Hinckley Jr. shoots President Reagan outside the Hilton Hotel. This was after his speaking engagement, when he entered the limo. Reagan suffered a punctured lung and heavy bleeding.
