    Chinese Immigration Act (-1)

In my opinion the Chinese Immigration Act was a decline in Canadian history because us Canadians were not treating everyone equally. We made Chinese pay a $500 head tax to enter Canada just because we did not want them here. That did decrease the number of Chinese entering each year, but did not stop Chinese from coming. Eventually the Chinese head tax was lifted.
