    A street fight that occurred between a "patriot" mob, throwing snowballs, stones, and sticks, and a squad of British soldiers The riot began when 50 citizens attacking a British sentinel A British officer, Captain Thomas Preston, called in additional soldiers, and these too were attacked, so the soldiers fired into the mob, killing 3 on the spot and wounding 8 others, two of whom died later.The Boston Massacre caused Britain to completely re-evaluate its goals for its colonial empire.

The American colonists were frustrated and angry at Britain for imposing “taxation without representation,” so they dumped 342 chests of tea, imported by the British East India Company into the harbor. The colonist were upset so this showed the British government that they wouldn't take taxation without representation and fought for their independence.

Under the terms of the agreement Russia was granted the right to intervene in the affairs of Moldovia. In addition Crimea was declared independent. Russia obtained several ports on the Black Sea and was named the official protector of the Orthodox Christians living in the Ottoman Empire."
