  • Industrial Revolution

    The industrial revolution began in England, it was when life of ordinary people changed dramatically forever. It was a time of numerous inventions, so indusrty devoloped so fast society could barely keep up.
  • James Watt

    James Watt built the first useful steam engine to make use of steam at a pressure just above atmospheric to drive the piston helped by a partial vacuum.
  • Boston tea party

    Boston citezens went on a shiop dressed a mohawk Indians, searching for imported tea. Armed with axes, they chopped open crates, 4500kg worth of tea. They dumped it into the harbour to stop Englands attempt to take over the tea marketing.
  • Declaration of inderpendance

    It is a document declaring the US to be independant of the british Crown, signed on July 4, 1776, by the congressional representatives of the Thirteen Colonies, including Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and John Adams. It was saying that they no longher have to be a part of Brittish Empire, instead the formed a new nation (U.S.A).
  • French Revolution

    During the French Revolution, \french people razed and redesigned teir countrys political labndscape, re building very old institutions such as the feudal system.
  • Storming of the Bastille

    People marched into Bastillle looking for gunpowder and the prisoners their, inside the cells was the arms they were looking for. It is now a big event with the French marking the start of the evolution.
  • Execution of French King Louis XVI

    Louis was overwhelmed by events beyond is abilioty to ontrol them. He inherited a realm nearly bankrupt. the economy when down, unemplyment in Paris was estimated at 50%. Crops were failing, bread and other food prices were of the charts.. Later on, he waa captured by all the angry souls that had to live through this time, they put him in jail with his family, he attempted to escape, but the cought him, taking him back to paris, there he was killed.
  • Allessandro Volta

    Volta built the voltaic pile (Battery produced a steady current of electricity) and discovered a method of generating' electricity, that was when he invented the Battery.
  • Newspaper

    The 1st black Newspaper "Freedoms Journal" (NYC) begins publishing.
  • Myall Creek Massacre

    Myall was a man of hate, he arounded up innocent and friendly aboriginies like sheep, the group was made of elderly men, women and even children. They were relatives of the aborigines working with the station manger, William Hobbs. The group for aborinals were taking behind some bushes and slaughted them all, burning their corpses after.
  • Conference of Berlin

    THe conference of Berlin was basically a rule set down for Africa to avoid bloodshed from the European empires. Africa was viewed with greed, awe and curiosity, because of the land, its resources, features and much more.
  • American Civil War

    The Civil war begun when Confederate warships attacked Union soldiers at Fort Sumter, south carolina on april 12, 1861. The last battle that had been fought was at Palmito Ranch, Texas, on may 13, 1865. The U.S had 2,128,948 people that fought, and confederate states 1,082,119. 620,000 soldiers died. The northen armies were victorius, the rebellious states returned to the Union.
  • Assasination of Abraham Lincoln in America

    Abraham Linoln was assinated by a man called John Wilkes, he was shot at a play at Fords Theatre in Washington D.C. The attack came five days after Confederate General Robert E lee surrended his armt, ending the civil war.
  • Thomas Edison

    Edsion was the first to make an electrical light bulb that acually worked and was useful. He had a staff working with him, they were investigating how to get it to work with all the different elements.
  • T Model Car

    The Model T car was the beggining of a new ear of transportation. It was said to be the car of the future, everyone wanted it because of how easy it operated.
  • Sinking of the Titanic

    The first voyage of the Titanic went out on it was struck by an iceberg making big hole with water rushing inwards later sinking the ship and killing many people, it was said that the Titanic was an unsinkable ship.
  • World war 1

    ANZAC forces were in involved in operations at 3 places, Western Front, Middle East and Gallipoli (I'll just do Gallipoli). Gallipoli was the first time that Australians went into battle was Australians, The term ANZAC originated from that time and ANZAC day, Australias most signicicant Holiday.
  • Assasination of Archduke Franz Ferdinands

    Archduke was killed by a man called Gavrillo Princip while on a visit to Sarajevo. Gavrillo shot him point blank range while the latter was travelling in his car from a town hall reception, already having survived an assasination attempt the current day.
  • Making of the Titanic

    The cost to build the ship was %7.5 million, it took 3000 men and two years to full contruct the ship.
