  • Battle of Lexington and Concord

    The Battle of Lexington and Concord began as a showdown between the American and British troops. It began with "the shot heard around the world", and ended with the Americans retreat and the British' advance towards Concord. However, the British were met with larger force, and, due to the Colonist's superior position, decided to retreat. Their march back to Boston proveed fateful for them, and at the end of the day 223 British soldiers died, while only 95 minutemen were killed

    The Battle of Bunker Hill was a battle between 1600 attacking Colonists and 2000 defending British. While the British held Bunker Hill, they had 200 casualties and 800 British troops wounded.
