  • Turn of the Century

    Turn of the Century
The turn of the century is a bright time for the Federation. Starbase 1000, the largest and most advanced starbase ever constructed, is officially commissioned in the orbit of Camelot. Admiral Bassenthwaite takes command and is appointed Chief of Starfleet Operations, Delta Quadrant Division, by the Federation president. By this point, there are a dozen Federation members in the Round Table.
  • Isolated Drift colonized

    Isolated Drift colonized
Ground is broken at the Federation's first colony in the Isolated Drift, Newer Victoria. It represents how far the Federation has come in the Delta Quadrant, and is a symbol of hope and optimism for Federation citizens everywhere.
  • Dilithium War breaks out

    Dilithium War breaks out
The stability of the Round Table takes a turn for the worse as the Perenalthorias Union and the Nrenti Sovereignty plunge into the Dilithium War. They are fighting over the scarce dilithium deposits in their region of the Round Table. While the Federation keeps out of the fighting, trade in the region hits new lows, and Federation colonization efforts stall.
  • Excelsior crew drifts apart

    Excelsior crew drifts apart
As the Excelsior is refit at Starbase 1000, several crew members choose to leave the ship. Commander Yubari becomes X.O. of the U.S.S. Wildcat. Lieutenant Commander Maraco becomes chief engineer of the Velorum Research Station. Lieutenant Commander Rustwick takes a posting on Starbase 1000. Lieutenant Commander Elbrun becomes the chief science officer Kepler Station.
  • Dilthium War ends

    Dilthium War ends
While neither the Nrenti Sovereignty nor the Perenalthorias Union is pleased, they are forced to put and end to their war, as neither side is capable of fighting it any longer. Brutal warfare tactics on both sides have turned nearly two hundred planets into wastelands. An estimated one and a half trillion lives have been lost. The Federation, Independent Traders' Alliance, and Isthic Corporation begin relief and recovery efforts.
  • Cephna Empire emerges

    Cephna Empire emerges
In the Pre-Warp Crescent, the Cephna Empire is rapidly becoming the political and economic powerhouse. A race of scientists, the Cephnateruvitsecians are generally friendly, and trade with the Federation booms.
  • Solaria Shipyards constructed

    Solaria Shipyards constructed
The Solaria Shipyards are finished in the Solaria system, in orbit of Camelot. These shipbuilding facilities will help Starfleet keep its fleet operational without needing to go back to the Alpha Quadrant.
  • Iconian Gateway destroyed

    Iconian Gateway destroyed
At a regional conference of all the major powers in the Round Table, the large delegation from the Isthic Corporation shocks the quadrant by destroying the Iconian Gateway. Simultaneously, they launch massive attacks on Federation colonies in the Expansion Region, Star Desert, and the Isolated Drift. Their delegation is destroyed, but the damage is done; the Delta Quadrant Division is cut off from the rest of the Federation. Admiral Bassenthwaite declares martial law. The Federation goes to war.
  • Perenalthorias Union enters the war

    Perenalthorias Union enters the war
The Isthic Corporation launch a suprise raid into Perenalthorias space. They completely level a half-dozen colony worlds before the Perenalthorian fleet can begin to respond. The weak empire begins to conduct a defensive war with the Corporation. The Federation attempts to open talks with the Jathlin in hopes of uniting their two fleets into one unified military operation, but the Disciples attack most of the conferences. Talks stall, and the war drags on.
  • I.T.A. enters the war

    I.T.A. enters the war
The Independent Traders' Alliance enters the war on the side of the Federation. However, they are merchants, not warriors; their limited fleets are not able to do much to stop the Isthic advances. Thankfully for them, the Corporation largely ignores them, in favour of concentrating on the Perenalthorias and the Federation.
  • The Myalins enter the war

    The Myalins enter the war
The Myalin Democratic State, sensing an opportunity to snatch up large swaths of space while the Corporation is busy with the rest of the war, invade several border colonies of the Corporation with most of their modest military. Promptly, a fleet kept in reserve by the Isthic retaliates, and Myalin losses are massive.
  • Personnel shuffled

    Personnel shuffled
By order of Admiral Bassenthwaite, Commodore Alecz Lorhrok takes command of the Solaria Shipyards. Captain Neeva takes command of the U.S.S. Barcelona, an Akira class. Captain Yubari takes command of the U.S.S. Excelsior. The rest of the Excelsior senior staff departs for various assignments.
  • Oracle Project begins

    Oracle Project begins
Construction begins on the U.S.S. Oracle, a Foresight class experimental vessel, at the Velorum Shipyards. It is the brainchild of a highly classified Federation think tank known as Project Olympus. Designed to mount technlogy not yet in existence, it represents the best efforts of Federation science. Captain J'naya is assigned to lead Olympus's R&D efforts, while Commodore Lorhrok oversees the starship construction.
  • The Myalins collapse

    The Myalins collapse
The Myalin Democratic State crumbles as their homeworld, Myal, is bombarded and utterly destroyed by Isthic forces. Most of the empire breaks apart and goes its own way. The few military vessels left form the Myalin Resistance and attempt to do whatever they can to pay back the Corporation.
  • Desert Flanking Maneuver

    Desert Flanking Maneuver
Captain Yubari and the Excelsior lead half of Task Force 38 on a bold maneuver into the Star Desert, hoping to unite with Perenalthorias forces and launch an attack on the flank of the Corporation. The Isthic intercept the fleet and destroy 215 of 243 ships, including the Excelsior. Captain Yubari is rescued by one of the escaping vessels.
  • Perenalthorias Union surrenders

    Perenalthorias Union surrenders
The Perenalthorias Union formally surrenders to the Disciples of Azal. They are allowed to maintain independence, on paper, as the Perenalthorias Protectorate. In practice, however, the Corporation controls all aspects of life within the Protectorate. With the only other empire that offered a serious threat to the Isthic gone, the Delta Federation's war projections become even grimmer. Analysts estimate that the Disciples will reach Solaria within a year.
  • Star Desert effectively falls

    Star Desert effectively falls
Despite the best efforts of Task Group Maquis, a large Isthic push reduces the Federation presence in the Star Desert to a half-dozen planets. Starfleet continues to hold Jacelon IV, a planet that may hold the key to opening a gateway to the Alpha Quadrant. Ruins on the planet are believed to be Iconian in nature. Research is hampered by constant attacks, both from space and on the ground.
  • Tenson system falls

    Tenson system falls
With the fall of the Tenson system, the Isthic Corporation is within a stone's throw of the Solaria system, Camelot, Starbase 1000, the Solaria Shipyards, and the remains of the Iconian Gateway.
  • Solaria system destroyed

    Solaria system destroyed
In a stunning show of technical prowess, the Isthic Corporation causes the Solaria star to go supernova, destroying the entire system without firing a shot. It is believed that this was a one-time superweapon, but the damage is done. Confidence in the Delta Federation plummets, and Admiral Bassenthwaite is killed on Starbase 1000. The surviving Starfleet flag officers retreat to Starbase 1022 in the Velorum system to regroup. General Robinson takes personal command of Delta Starfleet.
  • Kepler Station besieged

    Kepler Station besieged
The Isthic Corporation pushes down to Kepler Station, one of the last defensive positions between the Delta Federation's headquarters in the Velorum system and their mortal enemies. Admiral Blake does his best, but it is estimated that the system will fall within three weeks without reinforcements.
