    Now wars were about to start and both loyalist and patriots wanted to get there armies ready and what do you need in an army soldiers see the Patriots had the upper advantage here the Patriots had 40% of the colonial population that's a lot and the loyalist barely starting to fight back only had 20% of the colonial population now that is a huge disadvantage the other 40% were neutral in this battle so by looking at this we would think that the Patriots would win but who knows?

    This is an event where the Bostonian's wanted to get revenge to show the taxation without representation, this was revenge for what happen in the Boston Massacre this was the revenge that was needed, so the Bostonian's got really drunk and decided we should dress up as Indians and all the tea on the British ships lets throw that over board. That day over 340 chest of tea were thrown over board and the British were furious.

    This was a document signed by John Murray and Earl of Dunmore the royal governor of Virginia it was a martial law that would grant freedom to slave if and only if they would join the royal forces to fight against the colonist. This was a really good deal for slaves of this time sure you went to war and have a 50-50 chance of surviving but if you were to make it at least you would have the right to be free that seems like a good deal.

It talked about the grievances with Britain and how the colonist wanted to split apart and they wanted to claim as United and Independent states.

    There were many issues during the constitution they just got done with many wars and had to deal with many problems, first the Brits were using slaves to their advantage so after the war they did not know how to count the slaves, they really did not see them as people the south was pro slavery while the north anti-slavery but they finally came with a compromise known as the 3/5 compromise meaning that 3 out of every 5 slaves counted as a vote.

    The continental congress adopted the Articles of Confederation the first constitution of the United States, they wanted to not force taxation they did not want to be like the Brits so they wanted to change it up a bit, but the problem was they had a constant shortage of funds and the other states would not comply to the rules they had in action. It took awhile but the states finally ratified the Articles of Confederation until March 1, 1781.

Really this treaty gave the U.S. the power it rightfully deserved.

It took place in Massachusetts where a revolutionary war veteran named Daniel Shay, led over 4,000 rebels in a uprising against economic and civil rights injustices, it was bad for everyone the farmers and the rebels as well many farms were seized in the rebellion and ended with the Rebellion losing.

    The first bank of the United States was made in 1791 and was used as a depository for government funds, and the idea came from Alexander Hamilton, and it gave people the ability to make loans, and was helpful as it was used to stabilize currency and economy. But as most things do it set off constitutional issues trying to decide if it was constitutional, Washington was on the same boat as Hamilton but Andrew Jackson was all against it. So what they did is they decided to charter the bank.

    Around this time Washington was about to serve his third term which we have not live to seen in our life but he could not take it anymore and denied taking the third term the new candidates were John Adams vs Thomas Jefferson and this would be an introduction to the first party system, John Adams wins the election making Jefferson the VP this would be a republican government, but before Washington left he gave a farewell address stating things that he wanted from the Gov avoid conflict etc.

    The Kentucky Resolution was an idea that was created by Jefferson in which the states could nullify unconstitutional laws that they did not find right, this immediately led to a constitutional compact among the states, and which would lead to the foundation of states rights. This is what Slavery and the Civil War would be fought on this would determine what would be of slavery and of the civil war.

    This would bring an end to the Naval war, in which they negotiated a treaty, Napoleon was with us and was against the Brits and Spain. during this Adam was seen as weak not strong as he used to be and again it was Jefferson vs Adams. Jefferson wins kind of he ties with Aron Burr and it then went to the house of representatives, but Hamilton hated Jefferson and Burr but he hated Burr more he persuaded the house to vote for Jefferson. Jefferson won and was supposed to undo fed papers but did not.

    Hamilton and Buerr hated each other and were from the start born to be enemies and they decided to duel over there rivalry knowing that duels were illegal they decided to duel anyway. Buerr was the VP and Hamilton the Secretary of Treasury. So the duel was commenced the both drawled their weapons Hamilton fired up in the air knowing that what he was doing was wrong, Buerr fires and fatally wounds Hamilton, Hamilton is now dead and the federalist that he was the people would lose ideas.

    The war of 1812 was a battle between the United States, and the United Kingdom, the Brits have a very powerful navy army that is 10x stronger then the american naval army so we decide to take a land based strategy so that we don't have to come into contact with British naval, we fought in Canada but the Brits beat us, and the Brits start to blockade the american ports, by 1814 the Brits take control of Washington D.C. and burn the white house. And the we moved to Fort Mchenry.

    New Era equals new beginnings and that's exactly what happend new ideas for inventions were being created to make the lives of many farmers and civilians a lot easier. The Iron plow invented by (John Deere) was made to pull the crops faster attach to a horse or cow and watch as the crops come to you, next was the Crank Churn this helped with the butter for families for the women to more easily stir, and finally the cotton gin which helped with plucking the seeds that were stuck in the cotton.

So with steam boats came the man made canal the Erie canal was used. And finally Railroads

    And as well as Transportation there was also a change to communication before you had to right down everything that you wanted to get across to people and guess what if you wanted a copy of it you had to right it all over again, well that's where the printer comes into place it was really cheap to print things back then and it also provided modern mass advertising. And a new form of communication was the telegraph this device sent electric pulses to send a message in Morse code. Samuel Morse.

    Florida was an important state that needed to be part of the U.S. and well the U.S. wanted to claim it from Spain, and well they did not want to be part so Andrew Jackson was furious and attack the Florida Seminoles. We win and pass the Adams Onis Treaty - in which Spain would secede Florida to the U.S. and others would recognize this U.S. claim to Louisiana. And this was all because Andrew Jackson took control of Florida and promised the freedom of fugitive slaves.

    The Missouri Crisis was an effort from the congress to calm the sectional and political rivalries triggered by Missouri, see Missouri applied to be a slave state and that really triggered people because the the United States at the time only had 22 states evenly divided between slave and non slave. And with Missouri in the mix things would not be even, the North was against the admission while the south was all in for Missouri becoming a slave state. And they settled on the 36 30 to split slaves

    This was a major landmark supreme court case, it would give the federal gov implied powers, and did not allow the states to take place of the federal government, a quote that was used was "power to tax is power to destroy" and this case would be lead to the south to make a more radical view of the states rights.It was an attempt to impede a operation of the second bank of the United States by imposing tax on all notes of the banks not charted by Maryland.

But this would lead to segregation in the north, this would start to affect the free slave communities and they would start to face a lot of discrimination and prejudiced but they would still compete for jobs against immigrants and hostilities start to rise.

The problem was that people would drink alcohol all day nothing else alcohol was the main source of beverage another problem was that women believed that when men would drink alcohol they would beat there wife's and so they needed to put a stop.It worked they dramatically decreased alcohol consumption and some states even banned alcohol .

The man James Monroe declared that Europe not to intervene with Latin America. To shorten it up the United States would handle the affairs of the Western Hemisphere.

    It was time for a new president and a election was held the Candidates John Quincy Adams and Andrew Jackson. The election went really well i guess for John Quincy Adams he won the electoral college while Andrew Jackson won the popular vote. After the election was over Jackson was very angry and bitter he believed that Adams had cheated with a bargain and that's the reason that Adams won he cheated but Jackson promised that he would come back and win the next election and would be president.

And he would use Personal attacks and they would claim that the other was a womanizer and they attacked Jackson's wife and he would say these words " let the people rule" Jackass or Jackson

And would be known for his heroism for ever.

They also created a eastern state penitentiary that held many criminals that were to far for help and they took it even farther by building a asylum for the mentally ill general population they would receive there own prison for them.

This event that he started was one of the largest slave rebellions in the United States. leading a total of 70 slaves and 60 whites this was a lot for the time they were going around killing whites and slave owners, they were eventually stopped in which Nat Turner Ran and tried to hide But what makes it important role of making a antebellum slave society south feared.

    Now Jackson's term was over and it was time for another election Democratic leader Andrew Jackson and Republican Henry Clay he was for a 2nd bank of the United States but Andrew Jackson hates this idea, but Clay thinks he can win the election. One event that could have affected Jackson they thought that early renewal of charter and they thought that would veto Jackson and Jackson vetoes and caused a central issue.

But things quickly went south he would eventually cause the panic of 1837 a financial crisis where wages went down and unemployment went up. they would eventually call him Martin Van Ruin for all of the problems that he would cause. no loans to help

    Martin Van Buren's term is up and he wants another one he runs for re-elect against William Henry Harrison a Whig. The Whigs do not want Van Buren to win so they proceed to spread rumors about Van Buren calling him a rapist, the Whigs will even get women to influence there husbands to vote for Henry Harrison. Harrison won the election by a landslide and would eventually bring the economy back. But he only makes one moth as president the shortest living president, in which John Tyler will carry.

    Ulysses S. Grant was an important General of the american army during the civil war and the commanding general at the conclusion of the war. He was given the rank of general by the President Abraham Lincoln, he won the battle of Vicksburg he would later become president, he began his military career as a cadet at the West Point military Academy. After he was done with the military Academy he would later serve as a lieutenant in the Mexican American war. And win the Civil war for the north.

Next were Yeoman farmers the middle 75% did not own slaves they were on and off with the planters some liking them and others hating. Last were the Tenant farmers these are the poor of the poor 30-50% friend to slaves.

He would also lead a smashing victory of the battle of Chancellorsville, he was a top graduate of United States Military Academy, until he surrendered on 1865 at Appomattox courthouse.

It was first introduced by David Wilmot, both political parties had labored long to keep diverse slavery issues out of national politics. Introduced on August 8 1846

The election mainly focused on slavery the Campaign in the south was pro slavery while the Campaign in the north was for the Wilmot proviso which means against slavery.     This election was an election about slavery and what would become of it the candidates Franklin Pierce, and Winfield Scott, Franklin Pierce won this election by a landslide , and he was also a member of the Young Republic, he won this election by a total of 212 votes. But the opponent Scott was allied with the anti slavery Whigs, but the thing is that the Whig party was falling apart and gave Pierce the win, the problem was North and South were opposing expansion due to slavery, later solved.

The south was very scared because 2 new states would be free states, and the South wanted to abolish the Missouri Compromise, but they would also want a transcontinental railroad that would run through the South but not the north, this bill would be introduced by a man named Stephen Douglas, it would repeal the 36 30 and would decide that Kansas was a slave state, and Nebraska a free state.

He would later die the next day,they would soon find Booth in a farm and light it on fire and kill him in the farm. Lincolns death would attract millions to the railroad in Illinois

But the issue was Tilden won the popular vote but the electoral vote was unclear so they just gave it to Hays so he won.
