  • Business Scorecard 2005 launches

    Business Scorecard Manager launched as server based product to allow to develop and broadly distribute scorecards to users throughout the organization to track KPIs.
  • Microsoft acquires ProClarity

    ProClarity, long-term Microsoft partner in Boise, Idaho with advanced analytics and visualization products was acquired to work with Microsoft's BI platform.
  • PerformancePoint Server 2007 launches

    Consolidation of technologies and solutions for monitoring and analysis, dashboarding, and planning into single product. Solution works in conjunction with BI platform (SQL Server) and SharePoint.
  • PerformancePoint Server 2007 SP1 Released

    Service Pack to support Windows Server 2008 along with additional enhancements.
  • PerformancePoint Server 2007 SP2 released

    Service Pack with support for SQL Server 2008 and other enhancements.
  • Microsoft announces PerformancePoint changes

    PerformancePoint Server 2007 will no longer be a standalone product. Dashboard, scorecard, and analytic capabilities will be consolidated Microsoft Office SharePoint Server Enterprise and will be rebranded as PerformancePoint Services. Existing SharePoint Server Enterprise users with Software Assurance gain access to PerformancePoint Server 2007 at no charge.
  • PerformancePoint Server 2007 SP3 release date

    Service Pack 3 will contain updates to PerformancePoint Server 2007's planning product. Estimated release date, exact date not know.
  • PerformancePoint Services released with SharePoint 14

    Dashboard, scorecard and analytic capabilities delivered with SharePoint 14 (release date unknown at this time but believed to be in 2010).
