    This timespan shows the life of Anthony Jhonson and sons through the diminishing of progress .Anthony Jhonson was first a slave. Then he was granted land and made a plantation. Later as progress diminished his sons rights were slowly taken away until they had nothing.

Then as a second offence shall stand for two hours in the pillary and have his ears nailed then at the expiration of the two hours shall have his ears cut close to the nails.This is diminishing progres because this is dehumanization and they are treating their slaves more like a toy that you throw away than an employee that you depend on.
