  • British Conscription Law

    The British conscription law goes into effect in the third year of the Great War. The law was intorduced by the British Prime Minister Herbert Asquith.
  • Re-election of Woodrow Wilson

    Woodrow Wilson is re-elected president of the United States, with the slogan "He kept us out of war." His political party was democratic. Wilson won the election with 49.2% against Charles Hughes who lost with a 46.1%
  • Rasputin's Murder

    Rasputin was seen as "the dark force" that was ruining Mother Russia. Aristocrats planned to murder Rasputin several times before the actual murder occured. After the murder discovery, Rasputin's body was taken by car to the Academy of Military Medicine where an autopsy was conducted. The autopsy results showed:
    Alcohol but not poison, three bullet bounds, and water in the lungs.
  • New Russian Govt

    Leon Trotsky represents the new Russian government and signs an armistice with Germany. Trotsky had the challenge to end Russian participation in WWI without having to grant territory to the central powers of Germany, Austria-Hungary, Turkey and Bulgaria.
  • Murder D;

    Former Tsar Nicholas II, his wife, children and members of his entourage are murdered by the Bolsheviks. The five kids, parents and entourage were shot in a cellar of a merchant’s house in Yekaterinburg, 900 miles east of Moscow.

  • Peace Treaty!

    The treaty of Versailles is signed by three important politicians, David Lloyd George, Georges Clemenceau and Woodrow Wilson. The terms of the treaty were presented to the Germans, and they had complaints. Germany was givern three weeks to display ther complaint, and since they didnt the treaty was signed in the Hall of Mirrors, at Versailles.
