    Mayflower Compact means that any men can practice any religion that they want, and speak anything about the government that they do not like.

    The Petition of Rights limited the king’s powers to what he can do. It stopped him from touching the citizens born rights. Without it the United States could have turned out like North Korea.

    1650-1696. They need the navigation act because the needed to minimize the import, and maximize the export amount of goods for the nation to get better.

    The colonists are now proud that they left because now they have more rights them they thought they could have and nothing will happen if they say something that they do not like about the government.

    This proclamation made the colonists mad because they wanted to go more west so the British may not have control over them.

    The Declaration of Independence is when the colonists said that they are no longer under the power of Great Britain. They are now their own country.
