    Columbus reaches West Indies

    Columbus discovers the "new world" and ended up arround Cuba but mistakes it for Asia at first. Later he would understand that he had discovered a new landmass

    Treaty of Tordesillas signed

    The treaty of tordesillas is signed and divides the new lands discovered between Spain and Portugal. It failed to mention other kingdomes like England in the treaty though.

    Vasco da Gama was a Portuguese explorer, one of the most successful in the Age of Discovery and the commander of the first ships to sail directly from Europe to India. Returned from Africa with a few spices and made a 3000% profit.
