    18th Amendment
    The 18th amendment was to ban the manufacture, sale, and transportation of alcohol. This amendment was the olny amendment out of all of them to ever be repealed. It was repealed in 1933 by the 21st amendment.

    Lenin was the founder of the Russian communist party and led the Russian Revolution. The red scare was a very big fright in America because many Americans thought that the immigrants from Russia would persuade them on being a communist country.

    The volstead act or also know as the National Prohibition Act was used to help enable the 18th amendment. The act classified the boarders of the volstead act. It said it prohibited intoxicationg beverages, regulated the manufacture, production, use and sale of high-proof spirits for other than beverage purposes, and to ensure an ample supply of alcohol and promote its use in scientific research and in the development of fuel, dye and other lawful industries, such as religious rituals.

    Herbert Clark Hoove was the 31st President of the United States. Hoover was a Republican from Iowa. He also won the Republican election.
