    Gunpowder.
    Gunpowder was invented around 850. The Chinese used gunpowder in the early 1230's to launch fireworks and to put in weapons.It helped the men in the war alot for there guns!

    Eyegalsses.
    Eyeglasses or Spectators were invented in the 1300’s like the clock.No one really knows who invented them.Around 1300 Venetian Glassmaker’s Guild,made it illegal for glasses to be made with glass lenses so they placed it with valuable rock crystals.They were very expensive, in 1352 only rich,and educated people worn them.

    Printing Press.
    Printing Press was invented by German named Johannes Gutenberg in 1436.Johannes was a gold smith.Before,the printing press was invented the monks had to write everything down by hand.Hand written books took months or years to hand print. So then books started getting very expensive.

    Wallpaper was invented in 1496,it first came into England they started decorated with hand painted designs, stencils, and wood-block prints.200 years later England was a very large producer of wallpaper for Europe.Only wealthy people could afford it.

    The Musket was the first usable rifle on the war! That alot of soldiers used,it was made in Spain in the 1500‘s.It would fire a metal ball that could very badly injure someone.They weighted 40 pounds and over 6 feet tall! I bet they had a very hard time using them in the war and hauling them around during battle!

    Flush Toilets was invented by Sir John Harrington, godson to Queen Elizabeth,in 1596. He was teased by his friends and never made another one although he and Queen Elizabeth continued to use the one he did make.Look what we have now in 2012! Toilets that flush & he was teased!

    Clocks were one of the things invented in the Renaissance, if we didn’t have clocks then we would not be able to know the time.It was invented in the early 1300’s,Galileo an Italian scientist,discovered pendulum in 1581.Thats basically why the hands or the bell moves on the clock.
  • Thermometer.

    Thermometer.
    Thermometer was very helpful in 1593, which was invented by Galileo it helped for illness to tell if you had a fever or the temperature in a room or outside.In 1714, Gabriel Fahrenheit invented the first mercury thermometer if can be cold or hot with the thermometer.

    Submarine was invented to go underwater in a little machine,it was the first underwater warship invented,by Leonardo da Vinci.He kept his plans a secret because he didn’t want to make was anymore terrifying than it was already than it already was.
  • The Match

    The Match
    The match was invented in 1680,by a man named Robert Boyle.Even though fire could be made by rubbing sticks together or striking it against steel (metal),it took up your time.He discovered phosphorus and sulfur and rubbed it together,and it burst into flames.They were not that safe,because sometimes they accidentally went up in flames why there were in his pocket! He improved a few things and it then turned to safety by something he did many years later.
