Sugar Act
The Sugar Act was made to stop smuggling of goods in and out of the colonies. This act taxed cloth, sugar, coffee, and wine coming into the colonies. It also made the colonies to directly ship their tobacco, sugar, and timber to Britain. -
Stamp Act
