    • it was historically mentioned and was used for playing
  • The French Yoyo

    The French Yoyo
    • also known as the "emigrette", "joujou de Normandie"
      • yoyos were popular in Europe all over
      • it was found in a painting of King Louis XVII who was 4 years old
      • yoyos impacted the French Revolution

    The Flores Company

    • Donald F. Duncan Sr. purchased the WHOLE company
    • This was because he was inspired by all the tricks that a person named Pedro did with the yoyo
    • Founded in San Francisco
  • The Duncan Company

    The Duncan Company
    • the new name for the company was The Duncan Company instead of The Flores Company because it was named after Duncan
      • They sold a bunch and totaled up to 45 million yo-yos in a country with only 40 million kids and still could not keep up with the demand
      • You can see that the company had its wonderful times but they could keep up with it
      • They invented metal and plastic yoyos and the yoyo was practically known worldwide
  • End of the Reign for The Duncan Company

    The company was doing well until they hit an obstacle and couldn't keep up, and sooner or later, the company got bankrupt :(
