    Physician, physicist, philosopher... the man invented words. He is credited with coining the terms electricity, electric force, electric attraction, and magnetic pole. He was the first to propose that the earth itself was magnetic.

    Volta was a physicist who invented the first battery in 1800. The word Volt is named after him.

    Inventor of the lightbulb (maybe), the electric chair (definitely), and so much more. Depending on who you talk to, he is either a great man or a sham. Either way, he left a permanent mark in the field of electricity.

    He is what Edison wished he could be... minus the poverty and eccentric behavior. Thsman was more electricity than Zeus, inventing like there's no tomorrow, but he ultimately stole my heart ith tesla coils.

    Creating a massive amount of electriity, this dam powers Arizona, Nevada and much of California.
  • Thor (X-Men)

    In the Mrvel canon, Thor is an Asgardian. These are interdimensional creatures who were mistakenly thought of as gods when in fact, they were just aliens. Our bad!

    A main villain of Spiderman, he was an electrician who ws struk b lightning. Instead of dying, he became an electrical capacitor capable of storing and expelling electricity at his whim.

    Controlling the power of weather, she summoned lightning like it was no one's business... but her own.
  • Emperor Palpatine (Star Wars)

    In the Original canon, he was the last true Sith. (Darth Vader recanted at the end) His powers included lightning bolts from his hands, a icked laug, and rocking that cloak.

    He's from that game where you have to destroy the car and some barrels... right? Originally conceived as an African man named Anabebe who was raised by lions, he was instead made as a chlorophyll lovin' mysteriously electrical beast-man.

    Appearing in the Alpha edition of MTG, this red instant deals 3 damage to one target. It has been reprinted in multiple editions.

    Voiced by a woman, this pokemon is asmall mouse like creature that stores electricity in its cheeks. It discharges this electricity by squeezing said cheeks fo either self-defense of culinary purposes.

    Virgil Ovid Hawkins was a teenager who was caught in the release of mutagenic gas. He developed electrical powers. Unfortunatey, he named himself Static whic brings to mind mild annoyances such as clothes sticking to you and small sparks.

    Cole MacGrath was a bike mesanger (probably with fixie) who was the wrong end of a delivery. The bomb he unknowingly (but knowingly... you need to know the story) carried exploed, draining the lifeforce of thousands of people. The end result, lightning powers.
