    Bonner aided children after Hurricane Charley in 2004. His idea sprouted from not being hit by the hurricane. His family had bought many things in prepardness but luckily were not hit. He decided to help others by pulling his little red wagon and taking disaster supplies to those in need. He began little however his impact was tremendous, soon he was changing the lives of many. That year he managed to collect 27 truckloads of supplies.

    Many times in his life he was told "No, you are too young to be helping out" but that did not stop him from making a change. Never in a million years did his family think he would make a significant change in the world however it was his courage that let him to found The Little Red Wagon Foundation. The organizations purpose is to aid poverty stricken children worldwide.

    Accepts and Uses Power Wisely
    In 2006, Zack received the Presidential Service Award from George W. Bush for his volunteer service. However we can clearly see how the fact that he had been recognized was not a reason to stop helping instead he uses the attention he obtained in a positive way promoting his foundation so more people donate money for the poverty stricken children all over the world.

    Bonner did a variety of volunteer work since the age of 6. However it was until 2007 he organized a 24 hour event that simulated being homeless for 24 hours. During that period of time he stayed in a box for 24 hours. He has dedicated most of his childhood to serving others and has even started taking classes online in order to continue serving.

    In 2007 Zack walked 250 miles because he was inspired by a documentary about a woman who walked 25,000 miles to advocate peace. He set himself a realistic goal considering his age and managed to follow through. He spread awarness of his foundation because of all the people who would stop mid road and ask what he was doing.

    In 2010, Zack Bonner faced with a life changing decision for his foundation. He decided to launch a national campaign to end child homelessness and inspired young activists to use their voice.
  • Positive and Hope-filled

    Positive and Hope-filled
    Despite the fact Zack Bonner is so young he has always faced obstacles in a positive manner. Bonner said that "When you're having a bad day you (have) to realize that someone else is having a lot worse of a day than you". A month later Bonner Marched Across America in a total of 178 and managed to complete nearly 2,500 miles and became the youngest to walf from East Coast to West Coast of the states.

    Zach Bonner has never settled for ordinary instead he thinks outside the box, or should I say inside the box... March 26 2013 Bonner began living in a glass box of 512 cubic feet imitating a homeless person's lodgings. His goal was to cover all of the windows with non pershiable food cans.By doing things like this he encouraged people to donate nonpershiable food. After seven days he was able to collect 6000 cans of food he later donated.
