    Peace treaty that ends WWI officially. Conference held by France, Great Britain, USA, and the Soviets. Germany takes an aggressive punishment from the Allies -- punishment includes, taking total blame for WWI, complete payment for all war debts, rationalized military, limited navy.

    Ruhr Occupied by Germany
    Germany takes back Ruhr from France. This was a violation of the Treaty of Versailles.

    Hyperinflation
    Germany prints an infinite amount of marks, making a normal German mark worth absolutely nothing. This causes the entire country into depression.

    Locarno Treaty split Europe into two categories, Western Europe, -- which was guaranteed by the treaty -- and Eastern Europe -- boarders of Germany were open for revision. Germany opened revision and changed the boarders of Switzerland and Austria.

    At the annual Nuremberg rally, the Nazis announced new laws that stripped German Jews of their citizenship, fired from jobs & Jewish businesses were boycotted, and they were forced to wear the Star of David on an arm patch.

    The Nazis used the Berlin Olympics of 1936 as propaganda, promoting a image of new, strong, united Germany, while masking the regime's targeting Jews and Roma (Gypsies), as well as growing militarism.

    German Nazis attacked Jewish persons and property. The name Kristallnacht refers ironically to the litter of broken glass left in the streets. The violence continued into the day and continued for several days in some places.

    The Germans first sign of defeat. Nazi Germany invaded the Soviet Union on the 23rd of August, 1942. But the German forces, didn't reach Stalingrad till mid winter. Once the Nazis pushed far enough into U.S.S.R, The Russians cut off their supply of food, and supplies to keep them warm making the battle impossible for Germany to win.

    The Allied Powers come across the English channel from Great Britain, in attempts to invade the Germans from multiple beaches in Normandy. The mission was a suicide mission for most men, but the Allies out numbered the Germans by over 1,000,000.

    One of Germany's final battles in WWII. The allied powers pushed through Normandy and the rest of France. Hitler launched an attack at the Allied Powers, but they bulged out and Germany lost.

    Axis Powers surrender, leaving them in another huge war debt on top of WWI.

    End of WWII - Hitler's Suicide
    Hitler realized Germany was leaning towards defeat. With this in confidence, he took him, his wife, and his dog, entered a bunker in Berlin, and popped cyanide. Hitler sealed the deal by taking a bullet to the dome.
