Lend-Lease Act
Lend-Lease Act was the principal means for providing U.S. military aid to foreign nations during World War II. It authorized the president to transfer arms or any other defense materials for which Congress appropriated money to “the government of any country whose defense the President deems vital to the defense of the United States. -
Pearl Harbor
Early in the morning Japan sent suicide pilots to blow up a harbor that contained USA soldiers. This sent a massive shock throughout the United States. This was a big part of the USA joining the war. -

Before the United States joined the Allies, they were made up of Britain, France, and the Soviet Union. But after many events the U.S. joined and helped the Allies come out on top. -
Manhattan Project
After FDR gave the project a go, U.S. started building a atomic bomb to drop on Japan. The bombs were later used for the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. -
Battle of Midway
This was a battle between the United States and Japan. Japan was planning on ambushing the U.S. troops but they countered and it was the most decisive navel battle in the war. -
