  • Hitler is declared Chancellor of Germany.

  • Persecution of Jews begins in Germany.

  • Nazis control the Reichstag.

  • Italy invades Ethiopia

  • The Nuremberg Laws are established.

  • Adolf Hitler denounces the Treaty of Versailles

  • Hitler sends troops into the Rhineland

  • The Munich Pact is signed.

    British and French prime ministers Neville Chamberlain and Edouard Daladier sign the Munich Pact with Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. The agreement averted the outbreak of war but gave Czechoslovakia away to German conquest.

  • Hitlermarches into Austria.

  • Kristallnacht happens, marks the beginning of the Holocaust.

  • Great Britain declares war on Germany

  • Hitler betrays Stalin when Germany invades the U.S.S.R.

  • The Pact of Steel is signed.
