    He was a member of parliament and journalist, and was arrested for the criticism of George's paper called The North Briton. After his release, manty people wanted to get him released in whic they formed a crowd and many were killed by the troops.

    The French were the first to record the existence of islands. They found acolony at Port Louis on East Falkland in 1764. Th next year under the ruling of John Byron, they established a place at Port Egmont on the small Saunders island. This was where the start of their settlement initiated.

    In this year the four eldest daughters Maria, Elizabeth, Charlotte, and Emily attended the Clergy Daughters' School at Cowan Bridge. This school was for daughters who were poor, like a charity school in which their family couldn't afford the best school.

    The school that Emily and her sisters attended was full of kids, in which some children were getting ver ill. A lot of the children were very poor and din't have the money to get help especially with the certain conditions they were staying in. Later Emily's two sisters Maria and Elizabeth died from a combination of tuberculosis and typhoid.

    Her brother worked as a tutor at Thorp Green Hall where his sister Anne. in 1845 he returned to Haworth Parsonage and later he eventually became an alcoholic. he came home many nights drunk and one day Emily was going up to see him, he died.

    On October 1st, during the funeral service of her brother's birth, she started to have symptoms indicating she wasn't feeling well but she didn't want top go to a doctor. Two monmths later she was stillhaving the same conditions so she told her family to call the doctor bu then it was too late, and shortly she died. She was only thirty years old.
