    Due to the United States neutrality Britian struggled from Uboats sinking their ships. President Roosevelt declared that the western hemisphere was neutral and a defense zone. This allowed the Navy to patrol the water and warn the British of German submarines.

    Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese. Many of the ships were damaged and lives were lost. This brought the United States into the World War.
