    Invented by Johann Gutenburg. As from the title this machine was used to print magazines, newspaper, books,etc. this helped speed up the process of creating anything with a form of writing on it. Now it is called a printer.

    Leonardo started to paint a picture know as the last supper. This painting featured a biblical piece of Jesus and his last few days. One of the most famous pairings by Leonardo De vinci.

    Diderot published the encyclopedia. This was considered the most important work of his life time. In today's time the encyclopedia has became very useful and resourceful when needed.

    James Hargreaves, a British carpenter and weaver invented the spinning jenny. He created a machine where it could spin more than one ball of yarn or thread at once. Making it easier to create clothes, plus it was faster.

    James Watt took Thomas's invention and added some improvements. He thought it would be a good idea to put a cylinder and a piston on the engine to help pull water from the ocean. The steam came out of the piston, and the cylinder allowed deeper and cooler water to be reached.

    The very first "shots" of the war was at Massachusetts. This battle was also known as the shot heard around the world. Now obliviously not everyone actually heard the sound but everyone read about it. This was also the beginning of the continental Army.

King George III wasn't going to allow this to happen without a fight. There was a large portion of the population in America that were loyalists, but nationalism eventually grew slowly over time.

Thanks to the French marines and ships on the water the British ships were unable to get past and the army was unable to get goods, and were unable to regroup. This makes General Cornwallis surrenders.

    this occurred in the early stages of the French Revolution. It was caused because of a rumor that said there would be a famine plot, where the population would starve. they were so unsettled by this they protected themselves and armored themselves.

Article one: Men are born and remain free and equal in rights. Social distinctions may be founded only upon the general good. Also the most common one. There's 17 articles all together but that is one of them.

    This is where Napoleaon defeated the Third Coalition. Now known as the Czech Republic. This was generally viewed as one of his most brilliant battles.

    After the battle of Friedland, where Napoleon defeated the Russians. Alexander of Russia offered this treaty that would bring peace to Russia. The result of this treaty was a major realignment of alliances.

    Joseph Nicéphore Niépce was the first person to take a photo using a camera. He took the picture by setting up a machine called the camera obscura. It took eight hours for the camera to take the picture.

    Napoleon abdicated as emperor, and then was sent to Elba,(Mediterranean island) for exile. He was then given sovereignty over the island.

    Napoleon then escaped Elba, landing in Southern France and went towards Paris, creating an army along the way. In France during the Champ-de-Mai parade he forced everyone to swear allegiance to him. When he then lost his support, Napoleon turned to the battle field where he faced a large Coalition army. He was defeated, but he managed to escape to Fontainebleau. Later on he abdicated again, and tried to escape the U.S he was then captured by the British, and shipped to St. Helena. Where he died.

    The railroads created a huge impact on the industrial revolution. It created political, economical, and social changes. It increased shipping rates 60-70%.

    Alexander Graham Bell did not create the telephone, but the first one to have a patent for it. It allowed people to speak over the telephone wires greatly changed the economy, because messages could be received and sent quicker.

    Even though Thomas Edison wasn't the first person to invent the light bulb, he still created a light bulb that lasted longer than anyone else's. He showed off his new light bulb by putting it in a lamp. This breakthrough allowed people to do work at night, that could normally only be done during the day, due to the lack of night.

    Orville and Wilbur Wright, invented the first plane that wasn't powered on wind. Once they built this they flew it over a beach in North Carolina for a few seconds.

    Henry Ford created a car type called the model T. It was cheaper to buy compared to other cars , because it was made on an assembly line. Which meant that it allowed more people to buy it.
