  • Locke publishes 2 Treatises on Government

    Locke had an idea of human's natural rights in which all humans were born with natural freedom and rights.
  • Montesquieu published The Spirit of the Laws.. The condition of the country determined the political and social structure.

    Montesquieu came up with the seperation of powers which in a means that they had a modeled government.
  • Rousseau published The Social Contract, Emile. Attempt to unite the liberty of the individual with the authority of the government. Emile was important for education.

    The Social Contract was a publication in response of the chaotic society. The government has to do the right thing or else the people will have the right to revolt.
  • Beccaria published on Crimes and Punishments

    The right to a fair and speedy trial also belongs to the abusive justice system.
