After his death in 1715 French nobles tried to regain the political power they lost during his reign. -
Economy problems
Because of the growth in population and regulations regarding trading economy problems were abundant. They needed someone in control who could help get them out of these problems, -
Louis ZVI came to throne.
He was not a very determined or noble leader. He lacked the strength of will to back his ministers when they pressed for reforms. -
French government
They were in a huge debt it owed to the bankers. This was really what plunged them into bad economy problems. They had borrowed large amounts of money to pay for the wars of Louis XIV. -
Paris crowd stormed the Bastille.
This happened in reaction to Louis bringing troops to Versailles. Disturbances soon spread to the country- side. -

This day in response to everything that was happening deputies rose to make impassioned speeche's.This meeting abolished most feudal customs. -
Peasents raction to the revolt
They launched their own revolution against their landlords. They raided storehouses, refused to pay tax and gave them a really difficult time. -
Legislative assembly congregates
They meet for the first time and discussed what they thought was important. Which was how to govern in the right way. -
Nobles flee
Scared by what was going on lots of nobles were leaving which of course was not helping the economy any.
