    From a young age Churchill was a very rebellious young boy by hiding from the maids at the palace. To set him straight his parents sent him to boarding school in 1888. That did straighten him out and Churchill actually loved his time at school.When he came back home he decided that he wanted to join the army so in 1895 Churchill joined the Military School at Sandhurst.     Soon after his training at Military School Churchill was sent to India. Then after a few months their he was moved to Cape Colony in South Africa to report on the ongoing Boer Wars that were happening. He left in 1899 for Africa. Once during the Boer Wars Churchill was captured by the Boers and was put into prison. Then after weeks of confinement Churchill decided to escape which he did by crawling under the fences and not turning back. When he came back home he became very famous.(Epstein 44)

One day in North Carolina they took their machine that they made and took off. They began to hoover above the ground. It lasted 59 seconds and they went 852 feet.     After many years of staying at home world war 1 broke out and Churchill wanted to help. When he signed up because of his fame from the Boer Wars he was put in charge of a battalion of troops. Wounce Churchill reached his troops he ordered them to move where their clean water to clean locations. He also had them take daily showers. These tasks help save the lives of these men. In almost every other camp there was a cholera ,but not in churchills due to his actions.(Esptein 57)

During the 1930s and the rise of Adolf Hitler he warned Britain against this new power, but they did nothing then on September 1 1939 Hitler invaded Poland and world war 2 started. On September 3 1939 in London Winston Churchill was made Firstlord of the Admiralty and commanded Britain's ships.(Epstein 65)

    A Few months went after Churchill became Firstlord of the Admiralty and then he became prime minister. He became prime minister when the previous prime minister Arthur Chamberlain resigned. As prime minister he could control how to execute the war. Now Churchill had to save his trapped men.The Germans had surrounded most the the British army fighting in France as they were on the beaches at Dunkirk. Then Churchill sent peoples ships to get their men home. The saved 339,000 men. (Epstein 80)

Also The German air force(Luftwaffe) is bombing British cities and people fearful of an immanent attack. Many of the citizens are losing hope and then the prime minister winston churchill speaks to the house of commons. He Compels the people listing to keep fights and to never surrender.(Epstein 103)

    Becomes Prime Minister Again
    After spending a few years away from politics he goes back with his conservative party and tries to get reelected prime minister. His party did win out and in 1951 Churchill became prime minister for the second time. During his second time as prime minister he tried unsuccessful to try to help heal the ties with the democratic west and communist east. After this he retired from office in 1955. Also during that time he was knighted by the Queen and he also received a Nobel Prize.(Epstein pg 130)

    On a warm November day in Texas during 1963 the current
    was president John Fitzgerald Kennedy. He was in a parade with the mayor of Texas. After a few moments of him sitting in his it happened an assassin( later found out that it was Lee Harvey Oswald) had shot him in the neck and head. He also shot the mayor of Texas in the back. Kennedy was rushed to the hospital but it was to late at 1:00 pm the president was dead. The mayor did survive but he was gravely wounded.(Johnson 2)

It also made employment discrimination illegal. This day many blacks celebrated their equality

    Winston Churchill beloved by many died on January 24 1965 of a stroke. He was 91 years old. Over 350 million people( which was a tenth of the worlds population at the time) Watch his funeral perception. Churchill was a man who encouraged people though his speeches and he will always be remembered.(Epstein pg 170)
