Period: 1571 to 1578 He attends grammar school. 1582 He marries Anne Hathaway and starts a family. 1583 His first child is born 1585 Judith and Hamnet, his twins, are born. He moves to London and begins a theatrical career. Period: 1589 to 1591 His first plays are a sucess. Period: 1593 to 1594 He writes poetry while London theatres are closed due to an outbreak of the plague. 1596 His only son, Hamnet, dies at the age of 11. 1599 His acting company builds the famous Globe Theatre. Period: 1600 to 1606 He writes his most famous tragedies (Hamlet, Julius Ceasar, King Lear, Macbeth, Othello, Antony and Cleopatra, Twelfth Night etc) 1612 He moves back to his birthplace, Stratford-upon-Avon. Apr 23, 1616 He dies.
