    William Penn

William Penn, was a wellborn athletic young Englishman, who was attracted to the Quaker faith in 1660, when he was only sixteen years old. He hoped to experiment with liberal ideas in government and at the same time a profit. He created the state "Pennslyvania". He is significant to history because he not only formed his own colony, but he wanted to make his treatment fair for the Quakers.
