  • Education

Heisenberg went to the Maximilian school at Munich until 1920, when he went to the University of Munich to study physics under Sommerfeld, Wien, Pringsheim, and Rosenthal. During the winter of 1922-1923 he went to Göttingen to study physics under Max Born, Franck, and Hilbert. In 1923 he took his Ph.D. In 1924 he gained the venia legendi at that University. • His best known work

Heisenberg has been a very well known person. And his name will be remembered throughout history due to his Nobel winning prize award paper/ theory on Quantum Physics. which he also did at such a young age. Which helped us all in being able to understand more about the atom and so much more. • World War Two and the effects.

After World War Two, Heisenberg and a lot of other scientists were captured by the Allies. After his release and the release of his colleges they moved forward to rebuild what was destroyed in the war and even made the Max Planck Institute for Physics. He then gave lectures in Germany, England, and the United States of America all at different times.
  • The Later Years

    The Later Years
In the later years such as past the 1950's he had become president of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. During his time as President at this foundation he and other scientists he had invited worked on the problems with plasma physics. This man led the front on quantum mechanics and had spent almost a life time in enlightening others.
