    Take It Easy

    Born of German decent in Prussia, a young Friedrich Engels started off as a rebellious teenage who's loyalty towards Prussia was stead fast and true at heart. He grew up with gymnastics as his sport of choice, but towards the end of his schooling, and with the will of his father, he began pursing a career in expanding business during the years of 1838-1841.

    Big Money

    After schooling, a handful of different prospecting jobs, and a short time in the military, Engels met Moses Hess who would later be directly responsible for converting Engels to understand and embrace the communist social structure, which ultimately brought his to his new home in Manchester, ENG. During his time in Eng, he began introducing a new concept of Socialism and the idea of eliminating private property.

    Marx The Man

    During their partnership, Karl Marx and Engels were able to pursued two communist congresses in London to adopt their perspectives and drafted the "Manifest der kommunistischen Partei". It outlined the principles of communism. The two of them attempted something similar on Germany, but to no avail. Defeated, the two fled back to London and England.

    Means to an END

    As his partnership with Marx ended, Engel continued his career as a writer. He published Der Ursprung der Familie, des Privateigenthums und des Staats (1884; The Origin of the Family, Private Property and the State) and Ludwig Feuerbach und der Ausgang der klassischen deutschen Philosophie (1888; Ludwig Feuerbach and the Outcome of Classical German Philosophy)(2). His writing continued all the way up to his death from cancer.
