Germany was in the war because they felt that they were being mistreated for the previous war and that Hitler was a great manipulator who wanted power.Japan and Italy joined Germany, Britain was defending Europe along with Russia and France. The U.S was in war because Japan bombed the U.S ports. -

Pearl harbor was a tragic event in U.S history, Pearl harbor was a harbor of U.S ships for war. Japan attacked Pearl harbor during the second world war in oreder to stop the U.S from sideing against the Axis powers. The U.S then joined the war and sided against Japan and Germany. -

D-Day is one of or is the biggest land battle of any war, it had French, British, American, and other militaries going against Germany. The French took over small towns behind German forces, American paratroopers dropping being enemy lines as well, and the U.S and British navy attacked the beach along with bombing the beach. -

The Korean war was between North Korea and South Korea and involved their territory with North Korea being communists and South Korea sideing with the U.S. The Vietnam war was between the U.S and Vietnam which involved control over the prevention of communism. -

The cold war was between the U.S and Russia. The war started because Russia wanted more land than it was given after world war 2. The U.S was trying to stop the spread of communism to other countries. Russia sent a satellite into space so the U.S went to the moon. -

Many civilians wanted to end the Vietnam War mainly cause they didn't know why the military was there, and because they weren't given a good reason. The spread of communism was a huge fear of the U.S but without backing out of Vietnam the riots caused by the civilians would be terrible. -
