At 2 am Iraq invaded it's neighbor, Iraq. Those of Kuwait who were not destroyed by Iraq fled to Saudi Arabia. Eventually, Iraq had captured Kuwait and gained 20% of the oil reserves and the substantial coast line on the Persian Gulf. -
