Walt Disney was born on December 5,1901 in Chicago,Illonois.
Walt Disney is one of five kids, he has three brothers and 1 sister. Shortly after he was born he moved to a farm near Marceline,Missori. -
In 1910 the Disney family moved to Kansas City,Missori. Walt got his first job as an artist for a local barber.

In 1917, the Disney family moved back to Chicago. He attended Mckinley High School, he never liked high school, he never graduated.

Walt dropped out of high school and enrolled for the army. He was rejected by the army and joined the red cross assosiation. He was sent to France to help out during World War 1.

Walt moved back to Kansas City because World War 1 was over. He got a job a the Kansas City Film Ad Company. He helped make short cartoons that were shown before movies. He called his first films Laugh o Grams.

Walt marries one of his workers from his studio. Her name is Lilian Marie Bounds. They got married in her hometown of Lewiston,Idaho. They got married at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity.
