Walt Disney was born on December 5,1901 in Chicago,Illonois.
Walt Disney is one of five kids, he has three brothers and 1 sister. Shortly after he was born he moved to a farm near Marceline,Missori. -
Another move
In 1910 the Disney family moved to Kansas City,Missori. Walt got his first job as an artist for a local barber. -
The next move
In 1917, the Disney family moved back to Chicago. He attended Mckinley High School, he never liked high school, he never graduated. -
Trip to France
Walt dropped out of high school and enrolled for the army. He was rejected by the army and joined the red cross assosiation. He was sent to France to help out during World War 1. -
Cartoon Time
Walt moved back to Kansas City because World War 1 was over. He got a job a the Kansas City Film Ad Company. He helped make short cartoons that were shown before movies. He called his first films Laugh o Grams. -
the newly-weds
Walt marries one of his workers from his studio. Her name is Lilian Marie Bounds. They got married in her hometown of Lewiston,Idaho. They got married at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity. -
Big Success
Sometime in 1925 Walt produces "Steamboat Willie",starring one of his charcters, Mickey Mouse, this was the first cartoon to used synchronized sound. -
A month long survival
Walt works with UB Iwerks as commercial artists. There buisness only lasts for a month. -
An instant sensation
The year of 1928 is when Walt Disney launches his most famous character, Mickey Mouse. -
