Between 1910-1917 Walt attended the Benton gramar school in Kansas City then continuing on to McKinley High school back in Chicago. During this time Walt earned money as a commercal artist doing cartoons for a local barber. He also study in the evenings for a short time at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts.
