Victor is 7 years old and is beginning to read and write and discover things on his own. Erickson's 4th stage is Industry vs. Inferiority and Victor is beginning to build his self-esteem and competency through the approval seeking of peers, parents, and teachers. If approval is garnished, he begins to display more adequate competency and develop his potential in his early childhood years. -
Victor is now 15 years old. He's engaged in Erickson's 5th stage, which is Identity vs. Role Confusion. Currently in high school, Victor must now seek out the roles and his own identity as he enters into adulthood. Building upon childhood experiences, he's currently searching for independence, relationships, sexual identity, and future endeavors that will help mold him into the society and culture he's involved with. -
Victor is now 30 years old and is in Erickson's 6th stage, Intimacy vs. Isolation. He's currently unmarried but still dating. He's hopeful that he'll eventually find love and share his experiences with a partner. He knows he's still young and to not to rush such an endeavor.
