He was born in Sherwood Content a small village in Trelawny Parish, Jamaica.
Usain was born with scoliosis and this later affected the way he ran. -

Usain Bolt won first place in the 200 meter dash which made him the youngest world-junior gold medalist ever.

Also attended the World Championship in Osaka, Japan where he earned two silver medals. -
Bolt won the 100 meter and set a world record time of 9.69 seconds. He set the world record in the 200 meter with a time of 19.30 seconds. He also holds the record with his 4x100m relay team with a time of 37.10 seconds.
