    Colonial Period
    Jamestown was the first permanent colony in Virginia in the late 1600's, it was also the first permanent English settlement in america.It was located in southwest of the center of Williamsburg. During that period of time Jamestown was set as the capital from 1616 to 1699. The cause of finding Jamestown was that England, were in competition to increase their wealth and power by expanding their empires in America.

    The Boston Tea Party was a direct protest by colonists . In Boston the Tea Tax that had been imposed by the British government. The British ships in Boston dumped 342 containers of tea into the harbor.The tea party was also due to the " taxation without representation.

    The articles of Confederation was introduced with thirteen different articles and was granted powers to the states and its government. The made of the articles was the each state could retain freedom,sovereignty and independence.The article of confederation was very weak as in to enforcing their laws and there for the had no power. The congress and national government didn't have enough power.

    The Louisiana Purchase was a purchase from France and was purchased by Thomas Jefferson as well. The united states bought 828,000 square miles of land from France in 1803. The Louisiana purchase was discovered and explored by Louis and Clark.

    The Emancipation Proclamation was issued by president Abraham Lincoln on January 1,1863 and was to approach that " that all persons held as slaves" within the rebellious states". This made all slaves have freedom from the Confederate states and if only the states wouldn't return to the union.

    The rough riders were in the period of time of the gilded age and the progressive era. Rough riders was an organization that was set up by Theodore Roosevelt. Was the first Calvary in the Spanish american war.

    World War I All began after the assassination of Austrian archduke, Franz Ferdinand and his wife on 28th of June 1914 by the Bosnian revolution. During the World war the conflict also was the fight against (Central Powers) - Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire and also (Allied Powers) - Germany, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire.

    The League of Nations was an international organization. Main headquarters was in Geneva Switzerland. League of nations was created after World war I and was to resolve international disputes.

    Adolf Hitler was the leader of Germany in WWII. He was responsible of the holocaust. He was also the leader of the Nazi party. It was a mass murder of 6 million European Jews. Hitler is important because we know that he was the cause of the holocaust and was the dictator of Germany for a period of time.
    Hitler in his early life lives in a small town in Austria called Linz, the upper capital in Austria. He eventually struggled though his childhood and he became Germany's leader.

    The start of the Montgomery Bus Boycott was right after Rosa parks was demanded to get off the bus for color, and she was asked to sit in the very back because she refused to give up her when she was asked by colored white person. Later after she was arrested. The boycott was organized by martin Luther king Jr to raise awareness to the discrimination to black African Americans.

    The Vietnam War was the longest and lasting war in the cold war, it was lasted up to 20 years from Nov 1,1955 - Apr 30,1975. The cause of the Vietnam war was cause of the threatening spread of communism all over south east Asia. Finally the war came to end after the Vietnamese government surrendered which was the end of the Vietnam War.

    On this date September 11th, 2001 was the most devastating moment in American history. This impact also has made the world shook as well. 9/11 is remembered as the terrorist attacks on the twin towers, Not only that its also remembered for the many innocent lives that were lost. There were 2,996 deaths and 7,000 injured and also including the deaths of the hijackers. The set up of the attack was planned up by four coordinated attackers that were From the terrorist group Al-Qaeda.
