    Important Native American leader. Was best know for fighting to keep Native American lands for Native Americans. Broke out of reserved land to take more 3 times. Was eventually captured in 1886 and spent the rest of his life as a war prisoner

    Owner of Standard Oil. Lived from 1839-1937. Considered wealthiest American of all time
  • Racial Purists

    Racial Purists

    A type of person who was against immigration and non-America-born citizenship. Also known as nativists, anti-immigrant, or just racist.
  • Allies of WWI

    Allies of WWI

    The alliance between Russia, France, and Britain during WWI. These countries fought against the Axis powers of Germany, Austria-Hungary, and the Ottoman Empire. The Allies were also known as the Triple Entente.

    Treaty ending WWI. Promised peace between the allies and Germany and overall blamed Germany for the war. Occurred at the Paris Peace Conference in 1919.

    The process of "killing of members of an unwanted ethnic or religious group in a society". Such racist violent acts were present at the end of the Cold War in Yugoslavia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

    North American Free Trade Agreement. Agreement signed by the US, Canada, and Mexico which created free trade between the three.

    A former intern at the White House who had an almost presidency-ending affair with Bill Clinton

    A shooting that took place at Columbine High school. Two teens killed 13 and wounded over 20 others at their high school. Changed how high schools operate to this day.
