    link On 22 September, U-9 sank the British warships HMS Aboukir, HMS Cressy and HMS Hogue in a single hour. This event is signifigant because the u-boats were the key to world war 1 to the germans, it was new technology and ways to destroy boats. it relates because this event would utimitly lead the US to war.

    The gatling cannon was general custers new weapon of choice. a rapid firing machine gun like weapon that could fire more bullets way faster than any gun, this weapon could supress a whole army with just two men and made fighting more efficient so custer could focus more men on different tasks, this is important to the lession we learned because it changed war but would eventuly lead custer on a bad road.
