    Christofur Columbus
    Chiristofer Columbus made four trips across the Altantic ocean from Spain in 1492 to 1502. He was looking to find a route from Europe to Asia, but never did. He accidently found the Americas. His jounrys started the beginning of the trans-Atlantic conquest and colonizations in the Americas.
  • Jamestown

    Jamestown
    Jamestown was the first American permanet English colony. It was sponserd by the Virginia Company of London. The colony had serious hardships because the colony was made up of many upper-class english men so they didn;t have any good laborers or skilled farmers. Men ournumber the women. They weren't used to the harsh weather and lack of fresh water.

    The American Revolution was also the American Revolutionary War and the U.S. independence. The conflict started with the Stamp Act which was a direct tax on printed materials from the Bristish Parlament. The colonist felt ith was unfair because the British shouldn't have a say in their government. A full scale war started between the 13 colonies and the British in 1775. France entered the war in 1778 on the colonist side which eventually made the British surrender at Yorktown in 1779.

    In 1776, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Roger Sherman and Robert Livingston drafted the Declaration of Independence.Then it was signed. The Declearation of Independence was a document about the American Revolutionary war, and how we won and how now were freeded from being under the Britishes control.

    The Emancipation Proclamation was an executive order issued by Abraham Lincoln. It proclamed the freedom of slaves in the ten states. The proclamation immediately freed 50,000 slaves. Slavery didn't become illgal everywhere untill 1865 with the 13th ammendment.

    Susan B Anthony and Elizabeth Stanton drafted the amendment and first introduced it in 1878. But, the costitution allowed the states to dertermine what qualifications people needed to votle and none of them let women. The 19th ammendment pas on August 18, 1920, which finally gave women the right to vote.

    World War II put Germany, Italy and Japan against the Allied nations of Great Britian, France, China, Soviet Union and the United States. Hitler, the dictator of Germany invaded Poland on September 1,1939. Britian and France declared war on Germany two days later. Japan attacked Pearl Harbor on December 1, 1941. This is when the U. S. entered the war. It ended when Hitler commited suicide and Germany surrenders then the U. S. drops the atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Japan surenders Aug. 14, 1945

    911 was the biggest atack on America soil since harbor pear. At 8:46 the first plane crashed into one of then twin towers, 20 minets later anther plane crashed into the second twin tower at 9:03, Then anther plane crashed into the Pentagon in Washington DC at 9:37, and the last plane crashed into a flied in Pennsylvania. All the planes were Hijacked by Osama ben latttens crew. This was a terrible atack on america.
