    The treaty of Paris is what ended the French and Indian war in 1763. This treaty gave Great Britain control of Canada and all land east of the Mississippi river. This made colonists very angry and laid the groundwork for the American Revolution.

These women helped the colonists who were opposing the british by spinning cloth and making their own clothes.

They were designed to collect revenue from the colonists in America by putting customs duties on imports of glass, lead, paints, paper, and tea.
