    Was created by Henry Ford, and was mass-produced because it was the first car that almost everyone could buy.
  • The Zimmermann Telegram

    Used for communication. Key to trying to unite Germany and Mexico.
  • The WWI Armistice

    It didn't end WWI entirely, but it helped unite Germany have peace in the Western Front.
  • The 19th Amendment

    The 19th Amendment gave women many rights, including the opportunity to vote.
  • Charles Lindbergh's Flight

    Was the first person to ever cross the Atlantic by flying. He flew for 33hrs 30mins from Long Island, New York to Paris, France.
  • Black Thursday

    Black Thursday caused the Great Depression because everyone panicked and sold their stocks on the same day, and it created a record stock crash.
  • The New Deal

    The New Deal was a bunch of actions that President Franklin D. Roosevelt put into play.
  • Hitler Becomes Chancellor

    After Hitler became chancellor, he initiated his plan against the Jews, US fighters, books, and so forth.
  • The Munich Pact

    It prevented war, but it helped out Hitler.
  • Hitler Attacks Poland

    After Hitler attacked Poland, it started another world war, WWII.
  • Attack On Pearl Harbor

    This enraged the US and encouraged them even more to join the world war and fight against the Nazis.
  • D-Day

    D-Day was when allies united to attack Northern France with beach landings on Normandy.
  • Hiroshima and Nagasaki

    The US bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki for payback, and killed hundreds of thousands of people.
  • Formation of United Nations

    United Nations strives for worldwide peace, security, harmonization, and cooperation.
  • The Long Telegram

    The Long Telegram helped the US fight the soviets.
  • The formation of NATO

    Stands for North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It's name basically describes it. It's in organization with a treaty of the North Atlantic countries.
  • Russians Acquire The Atomic Bomb

    Russians create the atomic bomb which is a huge step of power in war.
  • The Korean War

    The war started when 75,000 people from North Korea invaded South Korea, and lasted three years.
  • Brown v Board of Education

    This made it so there was no racial segregation in schools, so that whites and blacks would be treated as equals.
  • The Vietnam War

    Was fought between Southern Vietnam and communist Northern Vietnam. They wanted to kick out the French.
  • Rosa Parks Refuses To Give Up Seat

    A woman named Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat to a white man on a fully crowded bus. She did this as a sign of Civil Disobedience because she new it was wrong, yet she was still thrown in jail.
  • The Cuban Missile Crisis

    The Cuban Missile Crisis was where the US and soviet Union had a stand-off referring to politics and military. It lasted for a month and four days.
  • Assassination of JFK

    This is when John F. Kennedy was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald.
  • The Gulf of Tonkin Resolution

    This allowed President Johnson to do anything he wanted with southeast Asia, but was specifically designed for him to establish peace and security in that area.
  • The Apollo 11 Moon Landing

    This is when the Apollo 11 (basically a space rocket) first landed on the moon along with Neil Armstrong who was the first man on the moon.
  • The Watergate Break-ins

    There was a break-in at the Watergate complex, and the burglars were caught. The evidence of the crime also helped lead to Richard Nixon's Reelection.
  • The Invention of The Internet

    This is when the internet was first created. Technology has developed so much more since then.
  • The Fall of The Berlin Wall

    This was when they finally took down the Berlin Wall and the people inside of it were finally free.
  • The 9/11 Attacks

    9/11/2001 was when terrorists came on planes, destroyed everyone inside, and then drove the planes into the Twin Towers.
  • COVID-19 Pandemic

    It first started in late 2019, but it actually is still going on with new variants such as omicron and delta. This is a worldwide pandemic and continues to make people sick, and can sometimes kill them.
