    When the guns on the Western front of the war fell silent.
  • The 19th Amendment

    The amendment that gave all genders the right to vote.
  • Charles Lindbergh’s Flight

    Charles Lindbergh's flight was across the Atlantic Ocean from New York City to Paris. The successful flight was the first solo flight across the Atlantic.
  • Black Thursday

    When panicked investors sent the Dow Jones Industrial Average plunging 11%. It started the Wall Street Crash.

    It was the event that brought the US into WWII as it was the first violent attack on US territory. It was when Japan bombed Hawaii.

    It was the largest sea-born invasion in history.

    When the US launched two Nuclear bombs over the Japanese cities Hiroshima and Nagasaki. One on August 6 and the other on August 9. They are the only armed Nukes that have been used in combat.

    Was formed to maintain international peace and security.

    A statement made by George F. Kennan written against the Soviet Union and all they stood for.

    A military alliance made between 30 North American and European countries.

    The Russians made the first Atomic bomb and set it off at Semipalatinsk.

    People broke in to the Democratic National Committee headquarters, police believe it was in link with the reelection campaign of President Nixon.
  • Nixon’s Resignation

    President Nixon made an announcement to step down from office due to the Watergate scandal.
  • The Fall of the Berlin Wall

    When the wall was torn down, allowing East Germany and East Berlin to again connect with West Berlin.
  • The 9/11 Attacks

    A terrorist attack where two planes were hijacked and flown into the twin towers knocking them down to the ground. Other planes were also hijacked but they were taken back by the passengers.
  • Covid-19 Pandemic

    First case discovered in China in December 2019. The World Health Organization declared the outbreak in January 2020. It was then declared a Pandemic in March of 2020. As of today, January 6 2021, the pandemic is still ongoing.
