The Fugitive slave act was passed by the united states congross. All the slave owners were searching for the escaped slaves so they were returned to their owners. They nicknamed this event "The Bloodhound law". -

The Battle started on the first of July and ended on the 3 of July. This battle was known at the wars "turning Point." HTis battle was also had the most casualites in the entire war. -
The Thirteenth Amendment
The Thirteenth Amendment was one reason why slavery dosn't happen today it says that slavery was only allowed for punishment. -
Surrender at Appomattox
Rober. E. Lee soon relized he had no choice but to surrender so on April 9th he agrred to meet so this is what ended the historys most bloodiest war.
